Magyarország Kormánya zéró toleranciát hirdetett az antiszemitizmus ellen

Július 25-én egy médiainterjúban Miloon Kothari, az ENSZ Emberi Jogi Tanácsa által felállított, Izraellel, a Nyugati Parttal és Gázával foglalkozó vizsgálóbizottságának egyik tagja megkérdőjelezte Izrael állam jogát arra vonatkozóan, hogy az ENSZ tagja lehessen, valamint a „zsidó lobbi” szóhasználatot alkalmazta.

Magyarország Kormánya zéró toleranciát hirdetett az antiszemitizmus ellen és leghatározottabban elítéli annak minden formáját és elfogadhatatlannak tartja a vizsgálóbizottság tagjának nyilatkozatát. A magyar Kormány a továbbiakban is fellép az Izrael, illetve a zsidó nép ellenes megnyilvánulásokkal és egyéb diszkriminatív, politikailag elfogult magatartással szemben.

Miloon Kothari, Commissioner of the UN Human Rights Council’s Commission of Inquiry on the Situation in Israel and the West Bank and Gaza, questioned the right of the State of Israel to be a member of the UN and used the term "Jewish lobby" in a media interview on 25 July.

The Government of Hungary declared zero tolerance against anti-Semitism and condemns all its forms in the strongest terms and considers the Commissioner’s statement unacceptable. The Government of Hungary will continue to take a firm stand against anti-Israel and anti-Jewish statements and other discriminatory and politically biased behaviours.
