Magyar prioritások az EU külpolitikai napirendjén
Mészáros Krisztián multilaterális ügyekért felelős államtitkár Budapesten fogadta Kajsa Ollongrent, az Európai Külügyi Szolgálat (EKSZ) – az EU diplomáciai karjának – főtitkárát 2026. október 20-án.
A megbeszélésen napirendre kerültek az októberi Külügyi Tanács és az Európai Tanács döntései, az Ukrajna ellen indított orosz katonai agresszió és a közel-keleti helyzet aktuális fejleményei, valamint az EU bővítési menetrendje és a Nyugat-Balkán országainak EU-integrációja is.
A felek megvitatták továbbá az EU-intézmények közötti kapcsolatokat, valamint az intézményekben meglévő magyar jelenlét erősítését is.

Hungarian priorities on the EU’s foreign policy agenda.
State Secretary for Multilateral Affairs Krisztián Mészáros met with Kajsa Ollongren, Secretary-General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) – the EU’s diplomatic corps – in Budapest on Oct. 20, 2026.
The discussions covered the outcomes of October’s meetings of the Foreign Affairs Council and European Council, the latest developments in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East, as well as the EU’s enlargement agenda and the European integration of Western Balkan countries.
The parties also addressed the relations between EU institutions and strengthening Hungary’s presence therein.
